As a professional musician with the London Symphony Orchestra, I had a very bad right shoulder, which made my playing untenable. My GP sent me to Laura Stott, and after some extremely intensive sessions, I was able to acheive the demands of the Beethoven symphonies. (the equivalent of digging a road for a string player!) Laura was very sensitive to my needs and I am impressed with her professionalism and obvious talent for her job!
Seriously, I was doubting if I could play up to 'par' again, but Laura has rectified my shoulder/rotator cuff/tendons and I am 85% there! Laura Stott is a marvel and deserves an excellent career in Osteopathy.

"I compete internationally at double mini trampoline and in April landed awkwardly during competition injuring my back. The treatment Laura gave was excellent. Within 6 weeks I was back to full fitness and full training which I was extremely happy with. Having scoliosis can make me wary with people treating my back but I was 100% confident in Laura and she also sorted out some old aches and pains that I had been dealing with. I have already recommended Laura and will continue doing so."

"I went in with quite severe pain in my lower back and buttocks. Reasons for the problem was accurately diagnosed at the first meeting together with some initial manipulation and some stretching exercises for me to do. Twenty four hours later the pain had disappeared, one week later I was discharged - cured. A remarkable result accomplished by a remarkable Osteopath. I shall always be very grateful for her expert services."

"I was referred to Laura via my doctor after a continual pain in my neck and shoulder area which has been ongoing for at least a year. Laura's treatment for the period of six weeks has left me almost completely pain free and her encouragement with exercise, professional treatment and ongoing support have left me now feeling very positive and with a 95% improvement. Laura has always given good advice and excellent treatment and her customer care was wonderful. Many thanks Laura and I would recommend her to anyone."

"In February I slipped on the ice and broke my right wrist. I had wires inserted to help the break to set properly and was signed off from work for a month. I enrolled at the local gym to keep myself fit,
as cycling and swimming were out of the question, and met Laura at the end of one of my sessions.
I contacted her soon after the wires and plaster were removed and begun a course of treatment. My wrist has made a good recovery from the break. Her treatment and encouragement during those first few weeks of rehabilitation kept me doing all the exercises given to me by the physiotherapist at the hospital. She gave me good advice on how far to push the wrist and when to rest it. I don't feel I would have made such a good recovery without her help."

"As a Professional Tennis Player based at the National Tennis Centre, I experience a very high level of medical, injury prevention and rehabilitation support.
Laura has continued to deliver this high quality support locally, now a major part of my training takes place in Ipswich. I rely on her to ensure I am physically balanced to cope with the stresses of training and to be an important part of my recovery process. Laura is a major member of my local support team when I am training away from the NTC and helps me to prepare at a high level for the physical challenges of the tour."

"I am a director of a multimillion pound company in the travel industry in my early 60’s.
In January 2008 I suffered a heavy fall on my elbow which result in injury to my right shoulder, the pain was such that I could not sleep more than 2 hours at a time on painkillers and I would awake when the effectiveness of the painkillers subsided.
I first met Laura Stott in March 2008 at the clinic she was working at and she investigated the problems and commenced a series of weekly osteopathy sessions which eased the pain considerably and shortly after treatment commenced I was able to sleep better although not on the side affected.
Laura then went abroad to widen her experiences for a few months, when she returned to England, I took up again the opportunity of having her treat me. This treatment continues on a regular basis, I always feel better after the session and bearing in mind there is a certain amount of degeneration due to the injury and my age I am very happy with the treatment received from Laura.
I thoroughly recommend her for her skills and understanding of the problems associated with this type injury."
